Melania Trump Grabs The Mic, Her Response Makes Room ROAR-…

First Lady Melania Trump announced Thursday that seven Ukrainian children abducted during Russia’s invasion have been reunited with their families, following what she described as quiet but effective diplomatic efforts with Moscow. In a statement, she praised both Russia and Ukraine for their cooperation, calling their efforts a “bridge-building” achievement that fosters optimism for future reunifications. The update follows her October announcement that eight children had already been returned after an “open channel” was established with the Kremlin. Since the start of Russia’s invasion in 2022, thousands of Ukrainian children have been deported, with Kyiv estimating at least 19,500 still missing.

Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska has described the returning children as psychologically devastated, explaining that many arrive “broken” and only slowly recover after reuniting with their families. Amid these developments, Melania Trump also revealed the White House’s 2025 Christmas theme, “Home is Where the Heart Is,” marking her fifth opportunity to decorate the presidential residence. This year’s display highlights American generosity, patriotism, and gratitude, featuring over 25,000 feet of ribbon, 2,800 gold stars, 10,000 blue butterflies, 700 feet of garland, and 120 pounds of gingerbread. The White House is adorned with 51 Christmas trees and 75 of Melania Trump’s signature wreaths with classic red bows.

The East Room’s theme, “America, Our Home,” honors the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with red, white, and blue décor, national symbols, 56 eagle ornaments representing each state and territory, and 250 stars for the nation’s birthday. America250 praised the display for reflecting unity, hope, and shared national purpose as the country approaches its semiquincentennial.
