Kash Patel’s FBI Has Opened A Criminal Investigation That Has…

A recent report claims that FBI has quietly launched a broad criminal investigation into what officials are calling a decade-long “grand conspiracy” by Democratic-party operatives and deep-state actors to manipulate multiple U.S. elections. The probe, said to have been initiated by Kash Patel a few weeks ago, could lead to the appointment of a special prosecutor — examining whether events tied to alleged Russia collusion, the prosecutions by Jack Smith, and other episodes cumulatively point to a criminal conspiracy. According to the report, the investigation hinges in part on two sets of classified evidence: a secret annex to a past inspector general investigation into the private-email server of Hillary Clinton, and classified documents related to the final report by John Durham, which purportedly contain what some call “Clinton-plan intelligence.”

The alleged evidence reportedly shows that U.S. intelligence agencies were aware before the 2016 election that Clinton’s campaign was allegedly pushing a false narrative about collusion with Russia — before the now-discredited probe Crossfire Hurricane was launched.  Proponents of the probe argue that, if declassified, these documents — plus other tips, such as alleged Chinese efforts to produce fake mail-in ballots in 2020 — could be used to demonstrate a coordinated effort to weaponize government institutions against one political side.

Nevertheless, this investigation remains at an early and highly controversial stage. The publicly available evidence — including past oversight from the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General (DOJ-OIG) — has repeatedly found that, while there were instances of bias and errors in earlier investigations, there was no definitive proof that federal probes were rigged to frame one side.  That history underscores just how contentious and uncertain any final outcome of this “grand conspiracy” case would likely be.
