Former President Joe Biden’s health has come under intense scrutiny following revelations that his “small nodule” was actually Stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. According to the Washington Free Beacon, former White House physician and current Congressman Ronny Jackson said the prognosis is grim, suggesting Biden may have as little as 12 to 18 months to live. Jackson also raised the possibility that Biden’s cancer may have been detected earlier but not disclosed publicly, noting that treatment such as radiation can be done discreetly on an outpatient basis.
Concerns extend beyond cancer. Jeffrey Kuhlman, who served as physician to President Barack Obama, criticized Biden’s medical team for not administering a cognitive test during the final year of his presidency despite his age. White House physician Kevin O’Connor’s 2024 report included no neuropsychological evaluation, even as reports surfaced describing Biden as forgetful, exhausted, and at times incoherent. Journalists Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson further detailed these issues in a recent book based on interviews with Democratic insiders.
These revelations have intensified questions about Biden’s overall fitness for office and contributed to mounting political pressure. When asked about his health last week, Biden offered a sarcastic response, dismissing concerns about both his physical condition and his decision to withdraw from the 2024 race.
